Bubble Letter Font | Blimp Display Type Family

Blimp Display is a fat bubble-letter typeface built for headlines that need to
land. It comes in two cuts and three layers, so you can set clean stacked
lettering or the tilted, overlapping throw-up style that graffiti pieces get
their energy from.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
6 TTF fonts plus WOFF web fonts:

• Blimp Display Solid, Outline, and Color
• Blimp Display Throwie Solid, Outline, and Color

Solid and Outline are designed to stack. Set the same line twice, put Outline
behind Solid, and you get a two-color layered headline with full control over
each layer. The Color cuts are COLR/CPAL fonts that do the layering for you in
one text run, with front letters correctly covering the ones behind them.

Throwie tilts and bounces every glyph and overlaps the letters, so a line of
type looks hand-thrown instead of typed. The bounce is built into the font,
not applied by hand.

LANGUAGE COVERAGE
524 glyphs:

• Latin uppercase and lowercase with Latin-1 and Latin Extended-A accents
• Cyrillic uppercase and lowercase (Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian)
• Japanese hiragana and katakana, including voiced marks, small kana, the
long vowel mark, and CJK punctuation
• Full symbol set, currency, quotes and dashes

Kerning is optically tuned with class-based pairs across the whole set, so
tight headline settings hold together without manual tracking.

GOOD FOR
Posters, album art, merch and apparel, streetwear graphics, social headlines,
event flyers, sticker packs, zines, and anywhere a line of type needs to shout.
